Halloween Party at Dracula's Castle in Borgo Pass

Day by day itinerary

10:00 AM Morning drive to Turda, a small town with an intimate medieval atmosphere, home to one of the oldest Salt Mine in Romania. Prepare to descent to the heart of one of the biggest saline in Romania, the Salt Mines of Turda, with impressive halls named after kings and queens. The Salt Mines are the place where you will put your existence to test! Next stop is Dracula’s Castle in Borgo Pass , a 3* hotel which was built in accordance to Bram Stokers imagination.

19:00 Halloween Party in Borgo Pass, a night to remember! With your costume on, here we start the series of Halloween party in Transylvania. You’ll serve a special 3 course dinner, enjoy great music at “Draculestilor Ball” and experience traditional music show (live) around a huge bone fire. Of course you are invited to visit the Count Dracula’s tomb, located in the basement of the hotel.

DAY 2,Borgo Pass - Sibiu (256 km, 4h 41 min driving)

DAY 3, Sibiu - Sighisoara (93 km, 1h 45 min driving)

20 : 00  Put on your costume and get into the mood, this is the reason for your travel to Transylvania. Prepare yourself for Halloween Party . You’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Romanian festive dinner washed down with fiery spirits, excellent Romanian wine and accompanied by a special program.

DAY 4, Sunday, Sighisoara – Cluj-Napoca

Here ends your adventure in Transylvania! Transfer to Cluj Napoca airport for your return flight.

Special notes & info

Please bring your own Halloween costume!

In Romania the weather in October-November is very unpredictable, with daytime temperatures between 15-20 grades Celsius, and night time temperatures between 5-10 grades Celsius; but it is very much possible that you will see some snowfall especially in the mountain section. However the weather is very changeable, so you should expect big temperature changing.

Other mentions

• Once you realise the price of good beer and wine you will probably not want to return to your country.
• Plenty of English is spoken and you will find the people are friendly and open.
• No visa is required and you can get green card extension insurance from your insurer to cover Romania.
